In a bizarre crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret sect.
The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
