It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a team that has won it all.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

Many contend the reasoning behind final game tension. Some might respond with the challenge that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was considerably tougher to predict.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this innings followed six innings in India since the start of last month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've observed me in training, it was a frustrating experience because it appeared my form was missing completely," commented Healy.

"An opportunity to play and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself that way, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was out her side required another 66 at run per delivery - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they left last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wished she had played with the discomfort.

But while she later admitted those injuries have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this tournament is likely to be her last as captain in one-day cricket and she is still to achieve a world championship as captain.

Triumph in India would lead her to the peak of her final mountain.
